It's a later stage of concept testing that allows you to evaluate how someone feels about a new product before you release it. The validation process let the innovator know about the whether the model developed can give satisfaction to the consumer and if not where it fails and how to improve on it and make it successful.
The speaker highlighted the opportunities available to the engineering students and asked all the participants to use their innovative ideas to develop a prototype and test the same for its validity and the develop the full-fledged product to start the startup. Tirunelveli being the place identified by the Tamil Nadu government as the Regional Startup Hub the resource person asked all the participants to make use of the opportunities and the government support for the same.
