Workshop on Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Govt support for Aspiring Entrepreneurs

On 30th November 2022 the Entrepreneurship Development cell in association with AURCT-IEDP HUB, Anna University Regional Campus, Tirunelveli organized Workshop on "Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Govt. support for Aspiring Entreprenures" Mr.Avinash, Director &CEO, INCRIX Techlutions LLP and Mr.J.Mohammed Nowsath Sherif, Co-founder & Chief Marketing Officer at Incrix Techlutions LLP were the guest speakers along with Mr M.Siva Baarathi, Field Coordinator, AURCT-IEDP HUB, Anna University Regional Campus-Tirunelveli. This event was jointly coordinated by Dr.Lourdes Poobala Rayen, EDC Director and IIC president and Dr. R. Prem Ananth AP/ECE IIC Convener. 100 students and 2 faculty members participated in the program.

Session 1 and 2 was handled by Mr.Avinash, Director &CEO , INCRIX Techlutions LLP. The Resource person explained about Entrepreneurship and Innovation and the concept of Design Thinking. He defined Entrepreneurship as the ability and readiness to develop, organize and run a business enterprise, amidst uncertainties in order to make a profit. The most prominent example of entrepreneurship is the starting of new business. He also explained about the various entrepreneurial opportunities for the engineering students. Then he explained the innovation as invention + Commercialization. He advised the students to create a product which can be implemented in the society. He then explained the concept of design thinking and its steps such as Emphasize, Define, Ideate, Prototype and testing. He explained each steps with an example. He stressed the engineering students to develop knowledge and skills regarding the industry 5.0 for developing innovative ideas and to develop startups. He said that nowadays, people can use technology to automate anything, from manufacturing to space exploration. He also said that Incrix provides comprehensive enterprise-level automation solutions to enhance the end-user experience.
