Workshop on Become A Student Entrepreneur

On 19th ,October 2022, a workshop on “Become a Student Entrepreneur” was organized by the Department of Computer Science and Business Studies in association with Entrepreneurship Development Cell at 3:00 pm. The program was delivered in offline mode and was also well intended by Dr. Subramania Bala Jeshurun, Associate Professor, Department of Master of Business Administration, FXEC, Vannarpettai and coordinated by Dr. T. Manimozhi, EDC Co-coordinator & Professor, Mathematics of CSBS Department. He stated that Entrepreneurship education is becoming more prominent and many students are seeking out extra curricular activities and taking on additional classes in order to learn more about how to succeed in business. He gave 8 tips to become an Entrepreneur like identify a gap in the market, Know your audience, Never underestimate the power of a solid business plan, Road–test your idea, Embrace feedback and learn from your mistakes, Build a strong network, Have your finances in good order. He discussed what a student entrepreneur can do and further stated the dos and the don’t s of a student entrepreneur. He gave many living examples and finally concluded the session with some of the booming businesses. The session was very useful and informative to the students.
