Workshop on “Awareness about Types of Cyber Criminals to Prevent Cyber Crime”

Cyber crime is a global threat. Cyber criminals seek to exploit human or security vulnerabilities in order to steal passwords, data or money directly. With a motive to give awareness about cyber criminals to students, a workshop on “Awareness about Types of Cyber Criminals to Prevent Cyber Crime” was organized by the Cyber Forensics Applied Lab, Department of Computer Science and Engineering on 03.05.2023. The Session was handled by Dr. R. Ravi, Professor and Research Center Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Cyber Forensics Applied Lab In-charge, FXEC. During the workshop, he explained the types of Cyber Criminals in a detailed and elaborate manner. The workshop came to an end with a feedback session. A total of 59 students and 2 faculty members participated in the program.
