The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Entrepreneurs

On 18.10.2024 a session on "The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Entrepreneurs" was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of Computer Science and Business Systems. The session was handled by Mrs.Freeda Jebamalar.S, Assistant Professor, Department of CSBS, Francis Xavier Engineering College, Vannarpettai , from 09.30 AM - 12.30 AM. 54 students and 1 faculty participated. This event was coordinated by Mrs.Freeda Jebamalar.S AP/CSBS. This event was conducted with the guidance of Dr. Lourdes Poobala Rayen, EDC Director.

The guest speaker started the speech by explaining about the Technology entrepreneurship which is evolving rapidly, driven by advancements in emerging technologies and shifts in market demands. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the entrepreneurial landscape by enhancing decision-making, optimizing operations, and fostering innovation. She explained the roles AI plays in entrepreneurship, highlighting its applications, benefits, challenges, and future potentials. She said entrepreneurship is the process of creating and managing a new business venture. In the recent years, AI has emerged as a crucial tool for entrepreneurs, enabling them to navigate complex market dynamics, improve efficiency, and deliver personalized customer experiences. AI tools can analyze vast amounts of data to identify market trends, customer preferences and competitive landscapes. Entrepreneurs can leverage predictive analytics to make informed strategic decisions. AI-driven CRM systems enhance customer interactions by automating responses, personalizing communication, and providing insights into customer behavior. AI accelerates product development through simulations, design optimizations and the analysis of user feedback. This allows entrepreneurs to iterate quickly and meet market demands. The session was an informative one the students interacted with the guest speaker and gathered lot of information about AI and the opportunities for scaling up a business using AI.
