The Nuances of Software Application Development

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Department of Computer Science and Business Systems in association with Computer Society of India, conducted a Guest Lecture on “The Nuances of Software Application Development”. Er. Gayathri Ramakrishnan, Application Development Team Lead, Accenture Technology, was the resource person for the programme. Dr. E. Manohar, Associate Professor/CSE introduced and welcomed the resource person. Prof. Mukesh Krishnan honoured the resource person with the shawl. Er. Gayathri Ramakrishnan talked about how to aspire to be a software engineer, when you become a software engineer, the various types of roles available in software industry, about front-end development, application program interface development, back-end development, about quality analyst role and about infrastructure management. She also talked about the role of data engineer, extract transform load and about the future of data driven roles. Dr. E. Manohar, proposed the vote of thanks. The programme was coordinated by Dr. E.
