Tenth BOARD OF STUDIES MEETING ON 12th December 2023

The Nineth Board of Studies meeting of MCA department was convened in Computer Science and Engineering Lab 3 on 12th December 2023 at 10.00 am. The External Members are Dr. C. Senthil Kumar, Asso. Prof / CSE, Thiyagarajar College of Engineering, (Anna University Nominee), Dr. E. Illavarasan, Prof./CSE, Pondicherry Engineering College (Other University Nominee), Dr. D. Murugan, Prof./CSE, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University (Other University Nominee), Mr.Prabagar Ramamurthy,Head,Information Security Management,Tata Consultancy Services (Industry Expert), Mr.Abishek Stephen, Senior Backend Engineer,Turing,USA(Alumni Expert). Board Chairman Dr. Aravind Swaminathan, Prof. and HOD /CSE gave a brief introduction of all the members and Mrs. D. Angeline Ranjithamani, the Associate Professor and Head of the Department of MCA, introduced the meticulously crafted Curriculum and Syllabus for the MCA Department, developed by the expert committee within the department.. The agenda is such as assessing the outcomes of the 9th BOS meeting, evaluating NPTEL Courses, incorporating Professional Elective Courses, and reviewing the MCA Curriculum and Syllabus. Insights from expert members will support the integration of current technology into the Curriculum and Syllabus. The meeting ended with the vote of thanks by Dr. Aravind Swaminathan,HOD/CSE.
