Technical Seminar on Cisco Cyber Security

The Technical Seminar on the topic “CISCO Cyber Security” was conducted on 28-04-2023 under the activity code ACT/22-23/01451. Dr. G. Aravind Swaminathan, Professor & HOD/CSE, FXEC. Mrs. Elizabeth Paulshya, welcomed and introduced the resource person. The resource person interacted with the faculty members and taught about Personal data, its characteristic and value of personal data and also explained how personal data is profitable to the hackers. He enumerated organizational data, its characteristics and impact of security breach. He described the role of hackers and cyber security professionals, cyber warfare, characteristics of cyber warfare, purpose of cyber warfare, types of attackers and also explained about the various authentication methods such as Physical and Biometric. Dr. E. Manohar delivered the vote of thanks. The event was coordinated by Dr. E. Manohar under the guidance of Dr. G. Aravind Swaminathan, HOD/CSE and Dr. M. Mohamed Sathik, Director, School of Computer Science, SCAD Group.
