TECH CONNECT SESSION 3 ON IOT

To connect the industry and make known the emerging trends and expectations in the Industrial Sector a “Tech Session 2 on Internet of Things” was organized on 26th August 2023 in association with the Southern Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry by 11.00 am online through the Webex platform. Southern Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a non-government, not-for-profit, industry-led, and industry-managed organization, whose primary function is to work for the development of industries in South India. Mr. George Koshi, Chair, SICCI Employability Taskforce & Director - Learning & Development, Sify Technologies, Dr. Nishanth Raja, CEO & Co-Founder XYMA Analytics Private Limited, Mr. Ashwin Desikan, Co-Founder & CTO Atsuya Technologies Limited, and Mr. Vivek Samynathan Rajamanickam, Founder & CEO Plugzmart Limited were invited as the panel members for the Tech Session. The session started with the welcome address by Prof.Anto Vinfray Joshua, AP/English, FXEC. Mr. George Koshi moderated the panel discussion forum online that centred around questions on automated measurements using sensors, inventing products with innovation, and monitoring systems. Discussion carried out concerning Patent Filing and the importance is stressed. Career opportunities in the IoT field were explored by the students. Mrs. D. Angeline Ranjithamani, HOD/MCA, and William Carry, Secretary, SICCI thanked all the panel members and the organising committee for the valuable inputs and knowledge shared. The session ended with the questionnaire session hosted by Mrs. J. Anciline Jenifer, AP/MCA. The session was found to be interesting and educational about IoT and its opportunities.
