Sharing of Product Development Experience

On 29.12.2022 a session on “Sharing of Product Development Experience by StartupTN Winner” was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of AI&DS. The session was handled by Miss. M.Dharshini III CSE-A, and K.S.Abbirami II AI&DS Francis Xavier Engineering college. 89 students from first year AI&DS A&B and 2 faculties of AI&DS department participated in the program. The program was coordinated by Mrs P.Sooriabrabha, Assistant professor, Department of AI&DS from 01.10PM - 4.10 PM.

The program started with the introduction of Guest Speakers Miss .M.Dharshini III CSE-A and K.S.Abbirami II AI&DS by Mrs P.Sooriabrabha, Assistant professor, Department of AI&DS . The resource persons explained why the students must involve in innovative product development and give solutions for the problems in the social domine. While explaining the need for innovation and product development the speakers shared their experiences in the innovation and product delopment. For this they used their innovative products as the examples. The speakers said that while developing the innovative products lot of exposures about the new concepts and ideas will emerge. This will pave the way for trying something new eventually it will end up with new product. Moreover, the team members will get Good Leadership, Communication Skills and Technical Knowledge.

They shared some of their problem statements and the solution they have provided for. They discussed more idea about startup and how to implement it and how to get funds for it. Also shared about the materials and free online resources available in the open source. They also shared information about how to protect the innovations by taking patent.
