Report Session on Creativity and Innovation: A key to Develop Entrepreneurship

On 23.09.2022 an expert talk on “Creativity and Innovation: A Key to Develop Entrepreneurship” was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The session was handled by Mrs. S. Poornam, Assistant Professor, Department of AI & DS, Francis Xavier Engineering College, Tirunelveli from 1.30 pm to 4 pm. The session was coordinated by IIC Convener Dr. Y. Harold Robinson, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Francis Xavier Engineering College.

The resource person explained the concept of creativity and innovation and why innovation is needed for sustaining the entrepreneurial venture. The speaker gave lot of examples for the creativity and innovations introduced in the leading companies and how it sustained their business and helped them to have competitive edge over other competitors. The speaker also explained the creativity and innovations in the key success such as developing vision and strategy, developing and managing products and services, marketing and selling products and services, delivering services, managing customer services helped to grow the business venture. Growing a business requires a sound strategy based on inherent business sense and skills. The session created a vibration among the participants and they interacted freely with the speaker 40 students and 2 staff members participated in the program.
