Opportunities To Earn through Boutique

On 12.08.2023 a Guest Lecture on "Opportunities to Earn through Boutique" was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of Master of Computer Application. The session was handled by Mrs.Mariyam Rizwana & Entrepreneur, Afizah Botique, held at Francis Xavier Engineering College, Tirunelveli from 10.00 AM - 12.30 PM. 60 students and 2 faculties participated in the program. This event was coordinated by Mrs. M. K.Subbulakshmi AP/MCA

The guest speaker Mrs.Mariyam Rizwana started the speech by explaining the concept of entrepreneurship and identifying the right business opportunities to succeed in the venture. She also explained how one can earn income out of the boutique business activities. She highlighted the trainings offered such as fashion designing, garment making in the latest style. Moreover, she explained the online training in fashion designing and the e-books on fashion design. Through sponsored content, affiliate marketing, and brand partnerships also she is generating income.

The guest speaker mentioned that whatever the activities we do it should be done in different ways to attract the attention of others and to make a difference in the products offered by others. She suggested to do business through online platform connecting the buyers and sellers of boutique items. She said that the social media can be used effectively to create a strong online presence for your boutique by showcasing its products through unique content on platforms like Pinterest. The interaction between the students and the resource person was highly motivating to all the participants. The session came to an end with the feedback from the students.
