On 14.07.2023 a NEP Ki Samajh Video Competition on Impact of NEP 2020 was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. 45 students participated in the event and the best 15 participants videos were uploaded in the link given by MoE. This event was coordinated by Dr. R Prem Ananth, IIC Convener, IIC Innovation Ambassador for "Design thinking & Innovations", Assistant professor, Francis Xavier Engineering College. This event was conducted with the guidance of Dr. Lourdes Poobala Rayen, IIC President.
The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with MyGov organized a Short Video Competition on the Implementation of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The competition aims to encourage young people to showcase the creativity by composing and submitting short videos about the experiences with NEP. It also aims to motivate the younger generation to make the most of the various learning solutions offered by NEP.
Our students answered 6 questions like What does NEP mean for India’s youth?, How will NEP improve the education ecosystem of India?, How did your internship experience/industry visit make you job-ready? (Job-readiness and experiential learning), How have you benefited from digital learning through online learning platforms like SWAYAM or NPTEL?, How important is it for students to have flexibility to choose subjects based on their interests? (Choice Based Learning) and Engineering courses have been made available in multiple Indian Languages. How is it beneficial for you?. Students prepared a short video and presented their videos to the IIC president. The videos are recorded and they are uploaded in the Google form link given by MIC.
