On 24.09.2024, a session on " Navigating the Entrepreneurial Landscape: Lessons from the Successful Startup Founder" was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of Information Technology. The session was handled by Mr. Jey Sidharth, Student Startup Founder/ CEO of HELEYON Technologies, from 11.00 AM to 12.30 PM. A total of 54 students and two faculties participated. This event was coordinated by Mr. F. Richard Singh Samuel, AP/IT. The event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Lourdes Poobala Rayen, EDC Director.
The program started with a welcome address and introduced the guest speaker. In the rapid technological advancements and shifting market dynamics, the journey of entrepreneurship. However, insights from successful founders can illuminate the path forward. The guest speaker being the successful startup founder stands as a prime example. His experiences offered valuable lessons for the aspiring entrepreneurs. One of the core tenets of the guest speaker was the importance of adaptability. In the tech industry, change is inevitable and emphasized that being open to pivoting can be a game-changer. Founders should not cling rigidly to their initial ideas but instead remain flexible and responsive to market feedback. This adaptability not only helps in refining products but also in identifying new opportunities.
The speaker attributes much of HELEYON Technologies' success to his dedicated team. He believes that surrounding oneself with diverse talent fosters innovation and resilience. Effective leadership involves not just hiring skilled individuals but also creating an inclusive environment where every team member feels valued. Encouraging collaboration can lead to breakthroughs that might not occur in isolation. In a rapidly changing technological landscape, continuous innovation is key. By applying these insights, new founders can not only survive but thrive in an ever-evolving business environment.
