On 16.06.2022 a Motivational Talk on “Shaping the Mindset of Budding Engineer” was organized by the Department of Computer Science and Business Studies in association with Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC at 2.00 p.m. -3.00 p.m. Mrs. Shala F John, Assistant Professor, Department of English, Francis Xavier Engineering College was the resource person. The program was conducted in offline mode and was coordinated by Dr. T. Manimozhi, EDC Co-coordinator & Professor Mathematics of CSBS Department. The resource person discussed about the concept of entrepreneurship, the rewards and the challenges to overcome the risk involved. The speaker also explained the personal qualities of an entrepreneur to manage the business.
She encouraged all the engineering students attending the program to enter into entrepreneurship. She also gave practical examples related to entrepreneurship, successful entrepreneurs and the life experiences. The resource person gave lot of business opportunities which are available to the engineering students. The participants interacted with the resource person and they raised few questions about entrepreneurship and clarified their doubts. Through this motivational talk the participants gained knowledge and the business opportunities.
