Leading the Way: Entrepreneurship in the Digital Frontier

On 23.09.2023 a Guest Lecture on "Leading the way: Entreprenerurship in the Digital Frontier" was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of Master of Computer Application. The session was handled by Mr. Vasanthkumar, Founder & CEO-Brand Mindz Global (Branding &Marketing Expert) from 10.30 AM - 12.30 PM. 60 students and 2 faculties participated. This event was coordinated by Mrs.M.K.Subbulakshmi AP/ECE.

The program started with the welcome address by Mrs. Angeline Ranjithamani HOD-MCA, Francis Xavier Engineering College. She said entrepreneurship, startup, innovation and Intellectual Property rights are the important terms one must familiarize. She introduced the guest speaker. The guest speaker started the speech by explaining the concept of entrepreneurship and the importance of entrepreneurship for the growth and prosperity of a nation. He gave lot of examples by citing the names of the leading Indian Men and Women entrepreneurs who have excelled in their career. He also said about the opportunities which are available in the social domine. He asked the participants to list few problems faced in the ordinary walks of our life. He then requested the participants to give a solution for few problems. He said this the way the problem needs to be identified and to become an entrepreneur.

He also spoke about branding the product and protecting the product or business against the possible infringement. In the second session, guest speaker talked about his own company details and the challenges faced by him. At the end of the session he conducted some mental aptitude game. He concludes the session by requesting the participants to choose entrepreneurship as the career option. The interaction between the students and the resource person was highly motivating to all the participants. Session came to an end with the feedback of students.
