Innovation Voucher Program

Centre for Entrepreneurship Development is taking a lot of initiatives to promote Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ecosystem among the students in the campus. As part of this initiative, students who are involved in the product development with innovative ideas are given orientation with regard to the funding support by Entrepreneurship Develo-pment and Innovation Institute of Tamil Nadu (EDII TN). In the earlier meetings with, Mr.Siva Baarathi, Field Coordinator of EDII TN, IEDP Hub, AURCT, he explained the procedure for uploading the necessary documents for getting the funding support provided by EDII through Innovation Voucher program (IVP). With the guidance of Centre for Entrepreneurship Development a number of students are preparing for availing the IVP grant. Out of the students, Ms.Dharshini M of III CSE applied for the IVP grant with the guidance of Centre for Entrepreneurship Development for her innovative project "Voice Assisted Smart Wheel Chair” mentored by Dr.Anitha, HoD of AI&DS. The proposal submitted to EDII TN was selected and Ms.Dharshini M of III CSE A was asked to appear before the EDII TN screening Committee formed for the purpose in the month of December. Based on the presentation EDII TN asked her to submit the prototype of the project. The prototype was submitted to EDII TN. In their letter reference RoC No.11-01/44/2022/EDII/2022 sanctioned Rs.2,00,000 under IVP Voucher - A for the project “Voice Assisted Smart Wheel Chair” to Ms.Dharshini M.
