Industrial Visit to Feathers Software at Marthandam

On August 30th, 2024, the Department of MCA organized a valuable industrial visit to FEATHERS SOFTWARE, located in Marthandam. FEATHERS SOFTWARE, known for its expertise in fully managed software development and data preparation, provided a unique learning opportunity for the 48 students and two faculty members who attended. This visit was facilitated by Mrs. D. Angeline Ranjithamani, the Head of the Department. The team arrived at FEATHERS SOFTWARE at 10:45 AM, where the innovative workspaces and dynamic employee culture made a significant impression. The highlight of the visit was an orientation program led by Mrs. Sugirtha, the Manager of the Marthandam branch, who shared her extensive industry experience. Her advice emphasized the importance of gaining experience in startup environments and staying updated with trending technologies like PostgreSQL, the MERN stack, and full-stack development. She also encouraged students to take advantage of free online learning resources. The interactive session that followed provided students with the opportunity to discuss their queries and deepen their understanding. By the end of the visit, students left with renewed enthusiasm and a strengthened commitment to pursuing careers in digital transformation, eager to face the future with creativity and determination.
