The 77th Independence Day was celebrated on 14th August 2023 with great joy at our Francis Xavier Engineering College. On this day the college campus was nicely decorated with flowers and flags.
A cultural competition was also held in the college where students of all departments participated. A Department-level exhibition was conducted regarding the remembrance of Independence Day, The title was “The Heritage and Heroes: A Tribute to Monuments and Freedom Struggle”. All our MCA Department students participated very eagerly with enthusiasm. They prepared the freedom fighter photos and the heritages with their creative thinking.
On that pleasurable day, a sense of pride and happiness could be seen on the faces of students. Everyone was excited to celebrate the program. Our II MCA students Bharath Srithar.T won the second prize in the Photography event and R.Varsha won the second prize in the Essay Writing competition.
