On 30-08-2022 a guest lecture was arranged by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the department of Computer Science Engineering on the title “Incubation: An Ideal Nursery for Developing Start-ups”. The session was handled by Dr.R.Ravi, Professor / CSE, Francis Xavier Engineering College. The event was co-ordinated by Mr. M.Mukesh Krishnan, AP/CSE under the guidance Dr.G.Aravindswaminathan, HOD/CSE.
The resource person explained about the Incubation centre and its functions. He also highlighted how the innovative ideas are fine tuned and developed as the prototype and marketable products. The speaker said that the incubator extends his help to nurture the product before it becomes the final product. He stressed all the engineering students to use the incubation facilities to incubate the innovative ideas to develop innovative products. He also explained about various successful start-up companies in India and various funding opportunities through government schemes to start the business.
