On 14-06-2022 Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized seminar on “Guest Talk on Prototype Validation”. The session was handled by Dr.C.Yesubai Rubavathi, professor in-charge of Mobile App Development Pre-Incubation Centre, AP /CSE, Francis Xavier Engineering College. The programme started with the prayer by Prof.Dr.G.AravindSwaminathan.
The resource person explained the meaning of Prototype and how to validate the prototype. While explaining the need for validating the prototype she said that the validation process will let the product developer know the products readiness level and the market fit. She also said that through the validation of prototype one can know the target customers opinion about the product and the modification they need in the product design and the features of the product. She also explained that the validation process will help the product developer to know the expectations of the prospective users, the market need and when, where, how and at what price the product is expected by the prospective users. This process will help the innovator to fine tune the product based on the expectations of the probable customers. The students actively participated in this seminar and they raised few questions to clarify their doubts in the areas of prototype validation.
