On behalf of the MCA Department and the DAWN Association, a Guest Lecture was organized on 14th August 2024 for the students, focusing on the topic "IoT Protocols." The lecture aimed to offer a comprehensive understanding of various networking protocols, frameworks, and their applications within the Internet of Things (IoT).
Mrs. G. Durgaveni, Assistant Professor from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Francis Xavier Engineering College, highlighted the critical role of Protocol Standardization in IoT. She also emphasized the relevance of protocols, specifically IEEE 802.15.4, across different fields.
The guest lecture proved informative and enlightening, providing attendees with a thorough understanding of IoT Protocols. It effectively connected theoretical knowledge with practical applications, inspiring and motivating students to delve deeper into the field. The lecture was well-received, leaving attendees with a greater appreciation for the potential impact of Modbus–Zigbee Architecture, RFID Protocols, and Unified Data Standards in shaping the future of the Internet of Things.
