On 16-11-2022, a guest lecture was conducted on the topic “Design of Microwave Amplifiers using Smith Chart” by the department of ECE. Mr.L.K.Balaji Vignesh, Assistant Professor/ECE, Ramco Institute of Technology, Rajapalayam was the resource person for the lecture. During the lecture, the resource person explained design of amplifiers using Smith Chart, Stability characteristics using Smith Chart, Design of low noise amplifiers using Smith Chart, Design of mixer using Smith Chart and also discussed some important problems related to the topic. After his lecture, the students were given time to interact with him. The session was very informative and useful to students. The program came to an end with feedback from final year ECE students. The convener of the guest lecture was Prof.J.Friska, HOD/ECE and the coordinators were Dr.S.Allwin Devaraj, AP/ECE & Dr.M.S.Sumi, AP/ECE.
