On 28.11.2023 a session on " Exploring Innovative Ideas-A Discussion" was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of Computer Science and Business Systems. The session was handled by Mr.M.Praveen, Final year, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Francis Xavier Engineering College, Vannarpettai, from 01.30 PM - 04.30 PM. 42 students and 2 faculties participated. This event was coordinated by A.Arthy AP/CSBS.
The guest speaker introduced the concept of innovation, emphasizing its pivotal role in developing startups. By discussing its relevance in various contexts he started the session in exploration of innovative ideas. He conveys the critical importance of innovation in the success of businesses and institutions and discussed the necessity for fostering an innovative mindset to thrive in today's dynamic environment. He discussed the fundamental characteristics that define innovative ideas, emphasizing traits like originality, feasibility, and adaptability. By offering real-world examples, he conveys how innovative ideas have reshaped industries by underlining the transformative power of creative thinking. He discussed the challenges and barriers to innovation by presenting the practical strategies to overcome these hurdles. In discussing the innovation process, he not only presents the stages from ideation to implementation but also conveys the collaborative and experimental nature that underpins successful innovation. Throughout the discussion he discussed the need for fostering a culture of innovation, advocating for environments that encourage creativity, collaboration, and a willingness to take risks.
The students left the session with a renewed sense of purpose, armed with valuable insights that will undoubtedly shape their entrepreneurial journeys. This session served as a testament to the limitless possibilities that lie ahead for those who dare to dream and work tirelessly to turn those dreams into reality.
