On 15.11.2022 an expert talk on “Mobile App Development: A New Source for Entrepreneurial Venture” was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the department of CSE. The session was handled by Dr. Thiruchelvi, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Francis Xavier Engineering College. 65 students from third year CSE and 2 faculties of CSE department participated in the program. The program was coordinated by Dr. Y. Harold Robinson, EDC Coordinator, Associate professor, Francis Xavier Engineering College from 01.30 PM - 04.00 PM.
The speaker explained the business opportunities through Mobile App development. The speaker said that mobile commerce is expanding very much extensively and the demand for mobile App is also growing among the business community to reach more customers anytime anywhere globally. She said creating a mobile app and website is the need of the hour for every business to reach all the people in society. The speaker concludes that one of the major benefits of mobile apps is that it can help the corporate to reach the customers faster. As the topic was very much useful for the Computer Science Engineering students, participants gathered more information form the guest speaker.
