Expert Talk on Daily Waste Management Practices in Service Sector Enterprise – A Discussion

On 10.11.2022 a Session on "Daily Waste Management Practices in Service Sector Enterprise – A Discussion" was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. The session was handled by Dr. R Prem Ananth, IIC Convener, IIC Innovation Ambassador for "Design thinking & Innovations", Assistant professor, Francis Xavier Engineering College from 1.30 - 4.30 PM. 63 students from Third year ECE and 4 faculties of ECE department participated. The program was coordinated by Mr Pradheep T Rajan B, Assistant Professor /ECE, Francis Xavier Engineering College.

The resource person explained the need for recycling of Daily Waste and convert the same to usable product which could be used as the business opportunity. He said recycling of waste product helps to earn money as well as save the environment. He said that the creativity and the innovativeness pave the way to earn wealth. He explained top 10 recycling business which produces wealth to those who are involved in the business venture. The 10 business ideas are PVC recycling business, Construction waste, Medical Waste Recycling, Utensils recycle business, Glass Recycling business, Mattress Recycling business, Textile Recycling business, Furniture recycling business, Electronic waste recycling business and Aluminum recycling business. He explained each business idea with example and the end products. The speaker explained all the recycling business ideas with an example and concluded the session. In fact, the session was an eye opener for most of the participants.
