Expert Talk on Creative and Innovative Thinking for Developing Successful Startups

On 21th ,November 2022 an Expert talk on “Creative and Innovative Thinking for Developing Successful Startups” was organized by Entrepreneurship Development Centre and IIC in association with CSBS department. Ms. M. Arunadevi, Assistant Professor, Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Francis Xavier Engineering College, Vannarpettai was the resource person and coordinated by Dr. T. Manimozhi, EDC Co-coordinator & Professor of Mathematics of CSBS Department. 64 students and 1 staff member participated in the program.

The resource person explained about the concept of creativity and innovation and why bot these terms are important for an entrepreneur and for managing entrepreneurship. She said the creativity and innovation helps to develop new ways of improving an existing product or service to optimize the business. While implementing creativity and innovation in entrepreneurship new, interesting, potential yet versatile idea come up which will take the concern to the next level.

The resource person also stated that in order to be creative, students must have the courage to try new things and experiment with different ideas. Creativity needs to be fostered in a way that allows students the freedom to explore their ideas without fear of being judged or ridiculed. Creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship are important things to launch each innovative products and services that comes with advanced technology. The entrepreneur can attract new customers by the qualities that they display but keep them for a long term by sustaining the quality of the product or services.
