On 21.08.2023 as a part of World Entrepreneurs Day an expert talk was organized on "Being an Entrepreneur" was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of Computer Science and Business Systems. The session was handled by Mr. Anto Joel V, Founder CEO -Zenanvibe from 1.30 PM - 04.30 PM. 52 students and 2 faculties participated. This event was coordinated by Ms. A.Arthy AP/CSBS.
The program started with the welcome address by Ms.A.Arthy, AP/CSBS Francis Xavier Engineering College. She started her welcome address by explaining the motto of IIC. She introduced Mr.Anto Joel V, Founder CEO –Zenanvibe.
The guest speaker Mr. Anto Joel V started the speech by explaining entrepreneurship. He said that when ideas are born, dreams take shape, and the foundation of a business is laid. He shared his experience by describing his entrepreneurial journey which begun with an idea. He said the idea might come from personal experiences, unmet needs, or a passion waiting to be explored. He said the students should allow their mind to roam freely, and capture every spark of inspiration. He suggested that by becoming an entrepreneur one can take control of their future as they have the autonomy to shape their own path, make decisions, and chart their course to success.
He also stated that the journey of entrepreneurship is filled with ups and downs. He encouraged the students to turn their entrepreneurship dreams into reality and suggested the ways how it can be achieved. He also shared the challenges that he faced during the initial stage. He said that the initial stages of entrepreneurship are often filled with excitement, anticipation and the thrill of pursuing your own vision, bringing an idea to life, and making a mark in the market. He concluded the session by encouraging the students to become an entrepreneur which helps in personal growth, innovative mindset and positive contributions to society. Being the student startup founder the students interacted very freely and gathered lot of information.
