ENVIR’O-SOLVERS HACKATHON

On 11.5.2023, a workshop session on “Envir’o-Solvers Hackathon” was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of AI&DS under the activity code ACT/22-23/01483. The Workshop aimed to create awareness and educate participants on the detrimental effects of single-use plastic and the importance of water conservation. The session was handled by first year AI&DS students Mr HARISH M, JERLIN M, JAI BHARATH KAILASH C, SAI MAHARAJAN and SAM ROBIN SINGH E. The workshop was structured around interactive sessions, presentations, and practical activities. Participants provided an overview of single-use plastic, its production, usage, and disposal methods, highlighted the environmental consequences and health risks associated with single-use plastic, and shared practical tips on reducing water consumption. Dr. Balasubramanian, Department of Physics, FXEC provided guidance on overcoming obstacles. The program was coordinated by Mrs. P. Sooriabrabha, AP/AI&DS.
