Earn Through Digital Transaction: An Entrepreneurial Opportunities

On 20.10.2022 a Session on "Earn Through Digital transaction: An Entrepreneurial Opportunities" was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. The session was handled by Thayaneshwaran.M, Final Year Student, Department of ECE, Francis Xavier Engineering College. 57 students from Second year ECE and 4 faculties of ECE department participated in the program. The program was coordinated by Dr. R Prem Ananth, IIC Convener, IIC Innovation Ambassador, Assistant professor, Francis Xavier Engineering College from 1.30 - 4.30 PM.

The speaker explained the business opportunities through online webstores, online products selling and stock market. He says that online product selling or e commerce creates wide entrepreneurial opportunities like selling the own product, or delivery partner to Online platform like Amazon or a facilitation center like Amazon stores to pack and ship the product for a particular area. The guest speaker explained the opportunities in stock market where shares of public companies are listed are traded. The primary market is where companies float shares to the general public in an initial public offering (IPO) to raise capital. He said that there are two stock markets NSE (National Stock Exchange) and BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange). Then he explained the basic parameter of stock market, such as market gap, Face Value, Book value, and Stock P/E. The speaker inspires the students to start the own business like a consultant to support the common people to buy good stocks. The session gave lot of inputs to the students to gather entrepreneurial opportunities through digital medium.
