On 27.10.2022 a session on Awareness on “Earn While Learn: An Entrepreneurship Promotion” was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. The session was handled by Mrs Raja Priya.P, EDC Coordinator, Department of Civil Engineering, Francis Xavier Engineering College, Tirunelveli. 48 students from Third year ECE and 1faculty of ECE department participated in the program. The program was coordinated by Dr. R Prem Ananth, IIC Convener, IIC Innovation Ambassador, Assistant professor, Francis Xavier Engineering College from 1.30 - 4.30 PM.
The resource person started her presentation by giving the basic details about Entrepreneurship. She said Entrepreneur is a person who sets up a business or businesses, taking on financial risks in the hope of profit. She also explained Entrepreneurship as the activity of setting up a business or businesses, taking on financial risks in the hope of profit The resource person explained the various opportunities to earn while learn. She gave number of examples like earn through online or digital medium. She explained the earning opportunities through Amazon, Flipkart, Meeso. She said the students can make use of the digital medium to earn while they learn.
