The DAWN Association and SIM’24 were inaugurated at 9.30 a.m by Mr. S. Lokesh, Full Stack Senior Engineer, Tata Elxsi, Chennai. Mr. Pravin Kumar of Final year MCA welcomed the gathering. The Chief Guest was introduced by Mr. Velayutham of Final year MCA. Our honorable Principal presided over the function and delivered the presidential address honored the chief guests with a memento. The Chief Guest underscored the paramount importance of professional etiquettes within software MNCs, highlighting their pivotal role in fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Nearly 250+ students from 18+ Arts & Science colleges and Engineering Colleges participated in Technical Events (Paper presentation, Quiz, Debugging) and Non-Technical Events (Mehandi, Cookery, As you like it). The meticulous coordination and dedication of both department faculties and students ensured that the competitions were organized with precision and excellence, creating a vibrant platform for participants to showcase their talents and skills. The Technical overall trophy was won by the students of Sri Ram Nallamani Yadhava College of Arts and Science and runner trophy was won by Rose Mary College of Arts & Science (women), Tirunelveli. The Non-Technical overall trophy was won by the students of G.Venkataswamy Naidu College,Kovilpatti and runner trophy was won by St.Xavier's college Autonomous,Palayamkottai.
